“Lyrical Rigger” Calum

Calum is one of the founding members of Runrig. He is the one, who mostly writes all these wonderful lyrics. That‘s why he is ‚The Lyrical Rigger‘ of the band. Calum loves to play the percussion and from time to time he‘s doing background vocals. He loves the Highlands and the Hebrides, the mountains and the beaches.

As the lyrical Rigger he is very sensitive and you have to take good care of him. Please provide a wee dram and a good portion of salmon for him from time to time. Please give him a hug and a spoonful of honey every day. And don‘t forget that he needs some paper to put down new lyrics. 🙂

Incidentally, Calum brings along his little tambourine. So it may be that in his new home the bells ring more often when he sets the rhythm for the music!
