“Groovy Rigger” Rory

Rory is the second founding member of the Runrig Bear Band. He plays the bass with heart and soul and so he is called the “Groovy Rigger”. Most of the Runrig tunes are created by him, but he does lyrics as well. He loves to sing the Gaelic songs straight from the heart.

Rory has been born and raised in the Highlands of Scotland and he prefers cold weather to hot. On stage he needs his fan and he will take it everywhere. If you decide to give Rory a home, make sure he always has a little breeze around his head. He loves to run and to explore nature and new territories.

He is easy going as long as he gets his daily hugs, but if you forget it, he can be quite miffed. To make him happy again a dram of peated whisky, a good portion of Haggis and a Macnum will help.
